These elderly nuns want to stop dirty divil Katy Perry from buying a convent
A FORMER CONVENT in Los Angeles has become the centre of a heated legal battle after two elderly nuns attempted to stop Katy Perry buying it.
The singer has been interested in buying an unoccupied property for three years, and agreed to pay the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Los Angeles $14.5 million for it.
However, the nuns say the convent still belongs to them – they do NOT want it to go to a saucy minx like Perry, and want to sell it to a restauranteur instead.
Speaking to the LA Times, Sister Rita Callanan of the Immaculate Heart order admitted to doing a little research on the popstar online when she heard about the sale.
After the nuns voiced their concerns, journalist Steve Lopez says Perry visited them at their new home:

Perry told Sister Rita that she intended to live with her mother and grandmother in the convent, and “sit in the meditation garden, sip green tea and find herself”.
However, the sisters were not impressed, telling TODAY:
